All of the discounts have been pre-negotiated – members gain the peace of mind that comes from getting a great deal without any hassle.
Since this is not insurance, there are no:

Finding the care you need
There are more than 76,000 participating provider locations1 in the CIGNAPlus Savings® program, making it one of the largest discount dental networks in the country.
Once enrolled in the program, locate a participating provider at www.cignaplussavings.com or by calling 1.877.521.0244.
Call the dentist to make an appointment and verify their participation. Then simply present the CIGNAPlus Savings® ID card to the dental office at the time of service and pay the reduced fee in full directly to the dental office.

How CIGNAPlus Savings® might work for a mother and child
Sign up for the CIGNAPlus Savings® plan through your employer. During the year, you and your child each have two check-ups – including one set of x-rays each. You need a filling and your child needs fluoride treatments. The monthly fee for a family is $8.50 to $10.

It's simple and easy for employers to administer, with options for group billing or individual billing.
Once a member has enrolled and receives his/her ID cards, he or she can start to use the program. Members simply pay the entire discounted fees to participating network dentists when they seek services.

FAQ
How do I pay for my dental services?
You simply present your CIGNAPlus Savings® ID card to the participating dental office and pay the reduced fee in full (based on the CIGNA Dental contracted fee schedule) directly to the dental office. Your ID card must be presented at the time of service so that the discount can be applied.
Do I have to choose a dentist?
You are not required to choose a primary care dentist. Simply make an appointment with any of the more than 64,000 qualified participating dental providers.
Do I need a referral to see a specialist?
Though you may want your personal dentist's advice and assistance in arranging care with a specialist, you do not need a referral to see a specialist.
Can I find out what the discounted fee is for a particular service?
You can contact a CIGNAPlus Savings® customer service representative toll-free at 1.877.521.0244 for information about discounted fees at CIGNA Dental Network Access participating providers. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.
