This medicine is given as an injection into a muscle.

Always inspect the medicine before using.

Do not use the medicine if it contains any particles or if it has changed color.

Keep this medicine at room temperature.

Never use any medicine that has expired.

Please ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist how to discard unused medicines safely.

Check to make sure that your injector slides easily out of its carrying case before you need it in an emergency. If it does not slide out easily, check with your pharmacist about replacing your product.

Ask your doctor, nurse or pharmacist to show you how to use this medicine correctly.

Family, friends, and coworkers should all learn how to give this medicine to the patient.

Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all your medicines. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines.

Check the medicine once a month, and replace it before it expires.

After using this medicine, go immediately to the nearest medical emergency room.

It is very important that you always have this medicine with you in case you need to use it. DO NOT leave it at home.

Tell the doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant, or breastfeeding.

It is unknown if this medicine passes into breast milk. Ask your doctor before breastfeeding.

Ask your pharmacist how to properly throw away used needles or syringes.

  • agitated feeling or trouble sleeping
  • chest pain
  • dizziness
  • headaches
  • high blood pressure
  • nausea and vomiting
  • nervousness
  • rapid heartbeat
  • red, burning, or itchy skin
  • sweating

If you have any of the following side effects, you may be getting too much medicine. Please contact your doctor to let them know about these side effects.

  • confusion
  • fainting
  • blurring or changes of vision
