Maternal Mental Health Podcast
Listen for maternal mental health education and understand the importance of seeking help if you or a loved one suffers from depression during or after pregnancy.

According to the March of Dimes, about one in five women have depression some time in their life, and one in seven women are treated for depression at some time between the year before pregnancy and the year after pregnancy. Depression during pregnancy and postpartum depression are common mental health challenges for new moms and often go undiagnosed and untreated. Cigna is committed to raising awareness and educating new moms, mothers-to-be, and their families about this important topic.
The podcast features Frank Roche (Cigna Business Communications Senior Director) and co-host Erica Oliveira (Business Communications Manager), in conversation with:
- Dr. John Keats (Board Certified Gynecologist and Cigna’s Market Medical Executive for Arizona)
- Dr. Patricia Stephenson, (Board Certified Obstetrician, Gynecologist, and Senior Medical Director for Cigna)
- Dr. Stuart Lustig (Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Lead Medical Director for Child and Adolescent Care for Cigna’s Behavioral Health Business)
The panel openly discusses maternal mental health and why it is important to be proactive and seek help if you’re experiencing symptoms of pregnancy-related depression.
